Pleasant Fall Weekend Ahead
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — With a small dip in temperatures on the way, we’re expecting these pleasant fall conditions to continue into next week.
FRIDAY: We’ll start the morning pretty cool, but it will warm up in the afternoon, with a high of 81°. The sky will be clear and sunny all day. Calm winds will increase to 5 mph out of the northeast in the afternoon.
FRIDAY NIGHT: Clear skies will continue through the night, with temperatures dipping down to a low of about 46°. That 5 mph northeasterly wind will also calm through the night.
SATURDAY: We’ll have a bit more cloud cover at times tomorrow than today, but skies will still be mostly sunny. The high temperature will reach about 78°, likely around halftime of the football game in Davis Wade Stadium. Winds will be out of the east at 5 mph. Through the evening, temperatures will cool into the sixties and fifties, with a low around 45°. Overall, a very pleasant fall Saturday!
SUNDAY: It should be pretty similar to Saturday, with a high around 77°. However, we are expecting a bit less cloud cover, making for sunny, clear skies. Winds will also be a bit stronger at 5 to 10 mph out of the east.
