Former Pickens County Deputy charged
PICKENS COUNTY, Ala. (WCBI) – We now know what charges a former Pickens County, Alabama deputy is facing.
47-year-old James Long Reed was arrested Wednesday, September 16th and charged with two counts of Electronic Stalking and one count of Voyeurism.
He was booked into the Pickens County Jail.
The charges were brought by the Alabama State Bureau of Investigation.
That agency was brought in after Pickens County Sheriff Jordan Powell was made aware of allegations of misconduct against Reed Friday, September 11th.
The investigation is still open. When it’s complete the finidngs will be turned over to the Pickens County District Attorney’s Office.
