Starkville resident escapes house fire
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – A Starkville resident safely escapes their home after it caught fire Sunday afternoon.
Starkville Firefighters responded to the home on Frontier Drive around 1 p.m. after reports of a person trapped inside.
Crews arrived to find heavy fire and smoke coming from the residence.
SFD said the occupant and two family pets made it out safely.
And firefighters had the blaze under control in about 15 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
The home suffered significant fire and smoke damage.
The cause remains under investigation.
