A Soggy Weekend

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – The dry spell ends tomorrow with isolated showers ahead of widespread rain moving in this weekend.

TONIGHT & TOMORROW – Comfortable temps linger tonight before overnight lows increase by tomorrow. The warm afternoon highs are staying in the low 90’s for your Thursday, an increase in humidity will make it feel like 99. Isolated showers and storms will roll through during the afternoon.

THIS WEEKEND – By Friday, rain chances become more numerous and likely across the NE corner. The rain will help limit heat in the low 90’s, just being slightly cooler than the day before. The biggest rain chance comes on Saturday. Widespread showers are likely throughout most of your Saturday. The good news though, the rain will cool temps down into the mid 80’s that afternoon. Numerous rain chances will linger into Sunday, again limiting temps to the low 80’s.

NEXT WEEK – By Monday, the rain finally slows down becoming isolated. The front pushing in all the rain this weekend will keep next week’s afternoon highs nice and comfortable. Even the overnight lows will range from the low 60’s to upper 50’s.
