Above average temperatures continue

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Warm days will stick around through the weekend with no rain. There’s still hope for rain early next week along with cooler air.

TUESDAY: Like yesterday, high clouds will filter the sun at times…but highs will still reach the middle 80s by afternoon with a southeast breeze.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Expect a mainly fair sky with overnight lows slipping into the upper 50s late.

REST OF WEEK/WEEKEND: Persistent high pressure along the U.S. east coast along with a strong subtropical ridge across the Gulf Coast will keep the Southeast dry and warm. Highs will remain in the 80s each day through the weekend with overnight lows averaging near 60°.
