Amory officials offer superintendent position to new candidate after Brian Jones
AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) – Amory School District officials have found a candidate to succeed retiring superintendent Brian Jones, and they didn’t have to go far.
The Board of Trustees has offered the Superintendent’s position to Coty Cox.
Cox currently serves as the Director of the Career and Technical Center, Director of Operations, and Director of Recovery Operations for the district.
Current Superintendent Brian Jones will be retiring at the end of the current school year.
The district will announce more details regarding the transition in the weeks to come.
