Below Average Temps
COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – A stalled frontal boundary will increase rain chances and lower afternoon highs below average.
TODAY – Monday starts us off with temps climbing to the upper 80’s later this afternoon. With that, an increase in rain chances are expected around the afternoon as well. Some showers and storms can be a little heavier than others, producing frequent lightning.
TOMORROW – Tomorrow will be even cooler with temps only reaching the mid 80’s. For reference, average temps this time of year is 94. We’ll dip almost 10 degrees below average in some areas. Tuesday also has the biggest rain chance and starts in the morning. Storm chances will be at its most coverage in the afternoon with a few lingering into the evening.
WEDNESDAY – Wednesday will continue the trend with another chance for temps to only reach the upper 80’s and scattered showers in the afternoon.
