Bicycle chase leads to drug arrest in Baldwyn
BALDWYN, Miss. (WCBI) – A bike chase in Baldwyn leads to drug charges.
Thursday,September 3rd, an agent with the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit attempted to stop a man on an electric bike near a Baldwyn park for alleged equipment and traffic violations.

The cyclist refused to stop and led the agent on a brief chase that ended in a nearby neighborhood.
The cyclist, identified as Eric Lee Hoskins of Baldwyn, was taken into custody, and the agent and a Baldwyn police officer searched the area.
They reportedly found what was believed to be methamphetamine near the suspect’s bike.
Hoskins is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine and a number of traffic violations in connection tothe original stop and pursuit.
Hoskins’ bond is set at $15,000.
