Brooksville voters go to polls to select new alderman

BROOKSVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Voters in Brooksville went to the polls to select a new alderman.

Alderman-At-Large Wallace Phillips resigned in September, leaving an empty seat on the board.

Four people were vying for the position: Susie B. Brooks, Angel Ervin, Eureaka T, Rico, Guy, and Robin Bankhead Mason.

The top two vote-getters were Susie Brooks and Robin Bankhead Mason, but neither got a majority. So, it looks like Brooksville voters will be making one more trip to the polls before the year is over.
