Caledonia schools placed on a brief lockdown early this afternoon
CALEDONIA, Miss. (WCBI) – Caledonia schools were placed on a brief lockdown early this afternoon.
All three Caledonia campuses were notified between 1:06 pm and 1:09 pm to go on lockdown.
Law enforcement officers were attempting to catch a fleeing suspect in the area of the schools.
The schools were on lockdown for about 30 minutes.
The precaution was lifted around 1:40 pm after officers gave school officials the “all clear”.
