Christmas tree lighting: Downtown Columbus Christmas tree is aglow

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – In Columbus, people gathered for the lighting of the city’s official Christmas Tree.

We had a live look at the crowd gathering at the Tennessee Williams Welcome Center.

Columbus Main Street and city leaders, along with Miz Claus were getting ready to throw the switch to light the tree.

The festivities continued until 7 p.m.
