City of Eupora officially names new police chief
EUPORA, Miss. (WCB) – The city of Eupora has officially named a new police chief.
A familiar face, Bryant Bell, was named as the new top cop.
The decision comes more than a month after former Chief Ernie Scarber resigned from the position after only holding the seat for two weeks.
Scarber took on the short-term role after Lawrence Caradine retired.
Chief Bell has been serving as the interim police chief since May.
