STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Demolition continues at the future site of a Starkville shopping center.

Crews are bringing down the old Garan Manufacturing building.

Developer Mark Castleberry believes Triangle Crossing will encourage shoppers to spend locally.

When the project was first announced two years ago, developers were hopeful a retail and grocery store would build at the Highway 12 site.

Garan recently moved to the North Star Industrial Park, just off Highway 389.

Construction at Triangle Crossing is expected to be complete by next fall.
