East Mississippi Community College pays tribute to veterans

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – East Mississippi Community College recognized veterans at the Mayhew campus.

The college held its annual “Proud to be an American” event.

There were patriotic songs and words of thanks to our military veterans.

Col. James Weinstein from Columbus Air Force Base was the keynote speaker.

The event recognized students, faculty, staff, and community members who are former or current members of the military.
