Finally a Pattern Change
COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – After Thursday, real change in the forecast finally comes, but it might dampen your weekend.
TONIGHT – Enjoy the upper 40’s and clear weather while we have it tonight. After today, the lows for the week won’t get much cooler than the mid 50’s with some rain potential some nights.
NEXT TWO DAYS – Thursday is another clear and warm day. Temps will rise again into the low 80’s with plentiful sunshine, but some patchy fog in the morning. Not much will change going into Friday to kick off your weekend. Another day of low 80’s, but this time an isolated shower late that evening is possible. No wash outs are expected to ruin outdoor plans.
HALLOWEEN WEEKEND – This weekend is when the real rain chances return. Timing is still inconsistent to confidently alter any evening plans, but you might want to plan for an emergency poncho just in case. Rain can come in as early as Saturday afternoon or as late as overnight Saturday night, if it comes early it will limit temps into the upper 70’s, but if it doesn’t come until later it could get back into the low 80’s again. For Sunday, most of the rain threat comes in the morning and will linger and help keep us cool in the low 70’s. Both days have a potential for a thunderstorm.
NEXT WEEK – Once the rain starts this weekend, it will linger into the start of next week. Isolated rain is likely Monday and Tuesday which will help warm temps into the mid to upper 70’s. By Wednesday, more scattered to potentially numerous showers are possible, cooling temps to the low 70’s again.
