Fire displaces Lowndes County family
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Multiple agencies respond to an early morning house fire that left one family displaced in Lowndes County.
Industrial Fire and Rescue firefighters joined Lowndes County Volunteer Firefighters in putting out the flames of an Artesia home Monday, August 1.
Officials said when crews arrived on the scene, they saw heavy fire and smoke.
According to Lowndes County Fire coordinator Jim Robbins, the fire happened on Ellis Street, and crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly.
No injuries were reported.
