Foggy Mornings Ahead

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — With the cooldown in overnight temperatures, we can expect foggy conditions overnight for the next few days. Daytime conditions will be nice and sunny, though!

THURSDAY: A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for our entire area today until 9 a.m. Be careful during your morning commute, as some patchy dense fog is likely on the roadways. Once the fog dissipates, mostly sunny skies will cover our area. Today’s high will reach 76°. Calm winds will increase to 5 mph out of the north-northwest.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Overnight, skies will be partly cloudy. Some patchy fog could form after midnight, and foggy conditions will likely persist into the morning. North-northwesterly winds at 5 mph will calm down through the night. Temperatures will dip down to a low around 46°.

FRIDAY: Sunny skies in store for tomorrow, with a high around 75°. Light winds out of the north start our day, but in the afternoon, they shift to north-northwesterly at 5 to 10 mph.
