Fundraising with flavor: Customers line up for annual Lee Home Bake Sale

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Black Friday may be a few days away, but for baked goods, November 21 was Black Tuesday. Customers lined up early at the historic Stephen D. Lee home in Columbus for the chance to buy a variety of made-from-scratch goodies, like cakes, cookies, pies, jellies, and more.

The annual Lee Home Bake Sale serves as a fundraiser for the upkeep of the museum and event site on Seventh Street.

The Association for the Preservation of Antiquities organized the sale while members provided homemade baked goods.
