Golden Triangle Homeless Coalition opens warming shelter

It opens at 5 p.m. Monday, December 11, and will close at 7 a.m. Tuesday, December 12.

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The Golden Triangle Regional Homeless Coalition opened a warming shelter in Columbus.

People needing a warm place to stay can go to 1501 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

The building is located just off 15th Avenue North.

It opens at 5 p.m. Monday, December 11, and will close at 7 a.m. Tuesday, December 12.

Volunteers were still needed. You can contact the Homeless Coalition to volunteer.

Snacks will be provided.
