Great weekend to get outside
COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Get out and enjoy the conditions this weekend!
FRIDAY NIGHT: If you are a HS football fan, this is going to be a fantastic evening to go watch your favorite team play. Temperatures will be comfortable throughout the game. Temperatures overnight will drop into the lower 60s, with a mostly clear sky.
SATURDAY: From High School to Collegiate football, this is going to be a great weekend to support your favorite MS College. MS State v Mizzou at 6:45p. Afternoon highs will reach the middle to upper 80, so tailgating won’t be as hard to get through. There will be plenty of sun and a few passing clouds. By kickoff, temperatures will be in the upper 70s and dropping into the upper 60s. Some may need a light jacket by the end of the game. Low temperatures will continue dropping into the upper 50s.
SUNDAY: Continuing the great weekend conditions. Afternoon high temps will maintain in the middle to upper 80s. There will be plenty of sun to enjoy being outdoors. It will be a bit breezy, with the wind coming in from the North at about 5-10MPH. Lows will return to the upper 50s.
NEXT WEEK: High temperatures will get a little bit warmer. Some days will move back into the lower 90s. Dry conditions Monday and Tuesday. Bringing back the rain potential starting Wednesday, with an isolated chance. Overnight lows will become more mild and muggy, due to increased atmospheric moisture.
