Heat alerts return
COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Late summer heat is sticking around through the next several days, with heat alerts in effect for the mid-week.
TUESDAY NIGHT: Calm conditions continue overnight, with only a few passing clouds. Low temperatures will be in the low-70s.
WEDNESDAY: Our entire area is under a Heat Advisory tomorrow as heat index values will be upwards of 105 degrees for several hours. We’ll have mostly sunny conditions, although a brief, isolated shower is possible for some of us.
THURSDAY: Heat sticks around into Thursday, as well. High temperatures will be in the upper-90s, with heat index values up to 105 degrees once again. Similar to Wednesday, we’ll have plenty of sunshine with the possibility of an isolated shower.
