Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office, MHP investigate serious car crash

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office and the Mississippi Highway Patrol were on the scene of a serious car crash.

The accident happened late Monday afternoon on Highway 45 North in Lowndes County near P & R Scrap Metal, just past the Cal-Kolola Road turnoff.

There are few details at this time, but the vehicle left the road and rolled over.

The investigation into the crash is in its early stages.
