Lowndes shooting suspect in custody

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A man wanted in connection with a Lowndes County shooting turns himself in.

Jermaine Lowe is being charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling and cyberstalking.

Lowndes County Sheriff Eddie Hawkins says Lowe was taken into custody yesterday.

Lowe is accused of shooting up a home on Pounds Road, in Steens, on Sunday night.

No one was injured but bullet holes were found in the side of the home.

Deputies believe Lowe and his ex-girlfriend got into an argument earlier and he came back to her house with a gun.

Hawkins says Lowe was out on bond at the time of the shooting.
