Maroon alert issued for gas leak at Mississippi State University
MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY (WCBI) – College Move-In Day is usually somewhat hectic, but today at Mississippi State was a little more so.
Early this afternoon, a Maroon Alert went out advising of a gas leak.
That leak was in the area of Barr Avenue and B.S. Hood Drive toward the middle of campus.
Officials advised people to stay away from the area, and traffic had to be rerouted while the issue was addressed and repairs made.
