Monroe County firefighters responded to a brush fire
MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) On Saturday afternoon just before 1:00, The Rural Hill and Becker-Athens Fire departments responded to a call about a brush and woods fire.
The fire was located on Boyd Lane.
No injuries were reported.
Monroe County Fire Services told WCBI, the fire started as a controlled burn that got out of hand.
