Motorcyclist killed following a crash in Lowndes Co.
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A motorcyclist has been killed following a crash in Lowndes County.
According to the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department, the wreck happened at the intersection of Military Road and Black Creek Road.
It is believed that a vehicle was traveling westbound on Military Road and was attempting to turn left onto Black Creek Road.
At the same time, a motorcycle traveling eastbound on Military Road entered the curve near the intersection and collided with the vehicle.
The driver of the motorcycle died at the scene.
The driver in the vehicle sustained minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
The name of the motorcyclist is not being released at this time.
