Nice Friday, some showers possible by Saturday

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Friday stays pleasant before some showers move through Saturday evening. We’ll dry out again by Sunday.

FRIDAY: Plenty of sun is in store w/highs back in the middle 60s.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Clouds slowly increase after midnight as temperatures fall to an average low of 40 degrees. Some spots in western Alabama may dip into the 30s while areas near I-55 stay in the middle 40s.

WEEKEND: Scattered showers become possible after lunch Saturday on an otherwise mainly cloudy day. The worst of the rain looks to stay well away from us, focused on Florida and eventually the Carolinas. Clouds may linger Sunday, but gradual clearing should occur by Sunday afternoon as the entire system pulls east & northeast.
