One person confirmed dead in 18-wheeler crash
CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash involving an 18 wheeler.
The big rig reportedly ran off the road in the Northwood Forest Road area off of Highway 45 Alternate north of West Point and crashed into a mini-storage facility.
According to Trooper First Class Clay Flake of the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 9 AM Wednesday.
One person was confirmed dead.
The investigation is in its early stages.
