Pickens Co. School Board chooses new superintendent
PICKENS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The Pickens County School Board has chosen a new superintendent.
Jeff Campbell has been chosen to lead the district as superintendent.
Campbell had served in the position as interim Superintendent since July.
The release states that he brings over 20 years of experience in education.
The board believes that his experience in education and school administration
and his longstanding ties to Pickens County will help Campbell to provide valuable leadership.
He succeeds Shawn McDaniel, who resigned from the position this summer.
His role officially took effect on August 18.
