Rain is out, seasonal temps through mid-week

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Christmas morning’s rain has moved out, leaving dry and seasonal weather through mid-week.

CHRISTMAS NIGHT: Expect at least some partial clearing with overnight lows ranging from 35-40 degrees.

TUE/WED: Near-normal late December weather is in store w/sun & clouds each day and highs in the 50s.

THU/FRI: An upper-level low will swing in from the northwest, bringing widespread cloudiness Thursday into early Friday. There looks to be enough moisture for at least some isolated showers Thursday evening, but there could be a few snowflakes mixed in as well…especially in extreme northern MS into middle TN. This system looks to clear out by Friday, but highs both days will remain in the 40s.
