Rain returns to the forecast

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Entering a new month and there is a change heading into the forecast.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Moisture continues building in through the overnight hours. Lows tonight will be mild and a bit more muggy, only dropping into the lower 70s.

FRIDAY: A cold front will be approaching from the NW. High temperatures will be in the low to middle 90s by the afternoon. Isolated to scattered rain chances will begin in the afternoon and continue into the evening. Low temperatures will drop into the lower 70s.

WEEKEND: Plenty of moisture will be locked in and across the Twin State region. Scattered rain chances will be possible both days. Get your rain gear ready. Afternoon highs will be in the middle 80s on Saturday and lower 80s Sunday.
