Seasonable Saturday, Showers Return Sunday

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – While we start the weekend quiet, a chance for showers returns on Sunday. A cold front will pass as well on Sunday to drop temperatures below average for the start of the next work week.

SATURDAY: High clouds stick around for much of the day. Temperatures will be near average, peaking at 60. Another chilly night in store with overnight lows dropping into the upper 30s.

SUNDAY: Showers will begin in the morning and last through the afternoon. Not much in the way of accumulation is expected with this system. Totals will remain below two-tenths of an inch for most.

EARLY NEXT WEEK: The cold front associated with Sunday’s showers will drop temperatures to start next week. Highs in be in the low-50s with overnight lows in the upper-20s.
