Some Clouds, Some Sun
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — This seasonable fall weather pattern will continue for a few more days, with some clouds at times but plenty of sunshine as well.
TUESDAY: Though the morning and evening hours remain cool, it will get warm during the afternoon, with a forecast high of 80°. Mostly sunny skies start our day. However, some clouds will move in through the afternoon, making for more cloudy conditions by the evening. Winds today are calm.
TUESDAY NIGHT: Skies will stay mostly cloudy through the night. The overnight low will get down to about 46°, and winds will remain calm.
WEDNESDAY: It will warm up again tomorrow, with a high around 80°. It will remain mostly cloudy at sunrise, then become sunny as the day goes on. Partly cloudy conditions are likely by midday. Calm winds will increase to 5 mph out of the east-southeast.
LOOKING AHEAD: For the first time since Hurricane Isaias made landfall on October 10, rain is back in the forecast. We are likely to see showers and a few isolated thunderstorms on both Saturday and Sunday. It won’t be a washout, but it should at least help a bit with how dry it’s been across the area as of late.
