Earn while they learn, Mechatronic Technology students attend orientation
EAST MISSISSIPPI COMMUNITY COLLEGE (WCBI) – Some students on East Mississippi Community College’s Campus will soon take their skills in the classroom to industries around the area.
According to EMCC, 34 students took part in the Communiversity’s orientation today who are enrolled in school’s Mechatronics Technology program.
These students will split their time between the classroom and serving as apprentices at industries like Steel and Aluminum Dynamics, and SDI Biocarbon Solutions.
Through this program, the students are paid while attending school, and their college fees and tuition are paid for by the companies.
Upon graduation from EMCC, the workforce training students will become full-time employees at the industries where they served their apprenticeship.
