Sunny and Dry To Start the Week

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – This week will feel more December-ish. Cold in the mornings, then cool and comfortable in the afternoons.

TONIGHT: Chilly! Temperatures will drop into the low 40s.

MONDAY: Nice day! Starting off chilly in the 40s on Monday morning. The afternoon is comfortable with sunshine and highs in the low 60s.

TUESDAY: More of the same. Dry and sunny with highs in the low 60s.

REST OF THE WEEK: A dry cold front Tuesday night will bring cooler temperatures for Wednesday and Thursday. After that, mild weather returns. Clouds begin to increase, and it’ll start to feel more humid on Friday and Saturday, setting the stage for unsettled weather over the weekend. Data suggests a dynamic storm system will move through our area over the weekend, bringing the chance for heavy rain and even some thunderstorms. We’ll keep you updated as things evolve this week.
