The Christmas parade season has officially arrived

The first parades will start the week of November 27.

GOLDEN TRIANGLE, Miss. (WCBI) – The Christmas parade season has officially arrived. Towns across the area are showcasing the sights and sounds of the season with festive floats, marching bands, Christmas characters, and the star of the show – Santa Claus.

The first parades will start the week of November 27.

The Starkville parade is on Monday at 6 p.m. This year’s theme is “All is Bright.” Vice Mayor Roy Perkins will lead off the parade as this year’s grand marshall. The famous Maroon Band from Mississippi State will also participate.

The town of Caledonia will host its parade on December 2 at 6 p.m.
