Truck fire on Highway 82 causes flames to spread to woods
ALABAMA (WCBI) – An 18-wheeler caught fire in west Alabama, and then, the flames spread to the woods.
It happened on Highway 82 in Pickens County just across the state line.
Firefighters from Pickens and Lowndes Counties battled the grass fire.
Traffic was backed up, as crews had to close one lane of the westbound side of Highway 82.
No word on whether there were any injuries or just how far the flames had spread.
