Two-vehicle crash near Columbus AFB sends victims to hospital
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A pick up truck overturns in a two-vehicle crash in Lowndes County.
Multiple agencies got called to the intersection of Highway 373 and Mike Parra Road around 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, September 22.
A family who passed the accident on the highway says officers had to help the driver of the pick-up truck escape the vehicle.
The truck turned over on its passenger side and had a broken windshield.
And the Mustang involved almost ran into a ditch.
Lowndes County Sheriff Eddie Hakwins said injuries were reported.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
