Unseasonably warm weather through mid-week

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Expect highs in the 80s through Wednesday before another front arrives later in the week. There’s actually hope for rain, too!

MONDAY: Expect plenty of sun with highs likely reaching 80° for most spots. Some high clouds still be in the sky as well.

MONDAY NIGHT: Another cool night is in store with overnight lows in the upper 40s. This will probably be the last night in the 40s until Friday night!

TUE/WED: Our warmest days! Plenty of sun and southwesterly low-level winds will help afternoon temperatures reach the middle 80s most likely.

THU/FRI: Clouds will increase Thursday, but there is some discrepancy as to when rain chances may arrive. The going forecast calls for a few showers by Thursday night, with the best coverage of rain coming on Friday. Friday looks fairly overcast and rainy at times, but the rain still doesn’t look extremely heavy. Rain amounts of a quarter to half inch seem probable, which we’ll take!

WEEKEND: A quick glance into the weekend reveals dry weather, but clouds may be a bit slow to clear. Highs look to sit in the middle 60s Saturday & Sunday.
