Voting in elections may be a civic duty, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI)-

Voting in elections may be a civic duty, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun.

The Clay County Alumnae of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority were putting a new spin on political “parties” today.

The sorority sponsored a “Party at the Poll” in West Point’s Marshall Park.

The party was complete with food, refreshments, and even a DJ spinning some tunes to keep people in the mood.

It was a way to help people celebrate their participation in the political process.
