Video: Special Olympics Torch Makes its way Through Columbus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – They were carrying The Torch for a cause Tuesday in Columbus.

This morning Columbus Police Officers and Firefighters participated in the Law Enforcement Torch Run to raise awareness and money for the Special Olympics.

About half a dozen participants made the run from City Hall to Columbus Police Headquarters.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run began in 1981, and serves as one of the largest fundraisers for Special Olympics.
