Video: Two Charged In West Point Deadly Shooting

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – The two men arrested in connection with a shooting in West Point that left a man dead have been officially charged.

Tevin Hodges, 23, of Starkville and Nebauchedezzar Townsend, 30, of Sunflower County are charged with capital murder. They appeared before a municipal court judge Tuesday afternoon.

They are both being held on a $500,000 bond.

The victim was shot in the head inside a unit at Point Place apartment Friday night.

Police chief Tim Brinkley says the case is still under investigation. Anyone with information should call Golden Triangle Crimestoppers or West Point police.
