MHP investigates a fatal crash in Calhoun County
CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Calhoun County.
At around 2 pm on Tuesday, October 7, a GMC truck traveling east on Highway 8 collided head-on with a Nissan Sentra traveling west.
The driver of the GMC, 69-year-old Willie Ray Douglas of Calhoun City, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
He later died from those injuries.
