Drivers who travel 82 will no longer have to take a longer route
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) Traffic is flowing once again on the highway.
Lowndes County Sheriff Eddie Hawkins told WCBI, Highway 82 has officially reopened, and all eastbound traffic is now flowing normally.
Drivers traveling through the area may resume regular routes.
Drivers are still encouraged to use caution and remain alert as traffic patterns return to normal.
