WCBI’s Ronny Smith honored at Starkville Rotary Club annual awards banquet
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – A big honor tonight for a longtime WCBI photographer who thought he was just there to cover the story.
Ronny Smith was honored by the Starkville Rotary Club with the “President’s Award” during the club’s annual awards banquet.
President Susan Seal says she chose Ronny because of his commitment to sharing the good work of the Starkville club through his attendance at weekly meetings.
Each week, Ronny brings us stories about the speakers, the club’s service projects, and other activities.
Seal joked that though Ronny is not affiliated with the club, his attendance record at meetings is better than some of the members.
