No injuries reported after a brush fire in Monroe Co.
MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – No injuries were reported after a brush fire over the weekend.
According to Monroe County Fire Services, firefighters with the Cason Volunteer Fire Department responded to a blaze on Friday on Liberty Road.
A vehicle was in danger at the time of the call.
When units responded to the scene, it was reported to be a half-acre gas fire. A burning tree apparently fell and spread the flames to a barn.
Crews worked to douse the flames.
Luckily, no one was injured.
