Best Outdoor Day Looks to be Friday

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – While very few showers are still expected Friday, most of the day will be nice and sunny.

TODAY – Another warm summer day with temps warming into the low 90’s around 93 for the afternoon high. While there are no active heat alerts, the heat index can still reach up to 101 in some areas. Isolated showers and storms will peak around the afternoon hours.

TOMORROW – Tomorrow will be very similar to what we see today. A slight increase in rain coverage is expected, but still remains scattered showers and storms in the afternoon. With slightly more rain coverage, the temps will decrease slightly as well, but the afternoon high will still be in the low 90’s.

FRIDAY – Friday has the least chance of rain this week with around 10%, very few showers are expected. The fewer showers will help temps warm close to the mid 90’s. A lot more sunshine compared to the rest of the days this week, not a bad day to eat lunch outside!
