Town of French Camp to be under new leadership

FRENCH CAMP, Miss. (WCBI) – For the first time in more than 20 years, the town of French Camp will be under new leadership.

Now, former Mayor Glen Barlow has retired.

His last day on the job was June 30, and the town threw him a retirement party.

Barlow has been in city government in some capacity for more than 30 years.

He was first elected mayor in 2001.

There is no word yet on when a special election may be held to fill the post.
