Motorcyclist killed in Ackerman 18-wheeler crash has been identified
ACKERMAN, Miss. (WCBI) – The motorcyclist killed in the Ackerman 18-wheeler crash has been identified.
Choctaw County Coroner Chris Coleman says 54-year-old Jacky Meaders from Weir was pronounced dead at the scene Thursday evening, August 4.
According to Troop G of the Mississippi Highway Patrol, Meaders was riding his motorcycle near Highways 12 and 9 when he collided with an 18-wheeler.
He died from the injuries sustained in the crash.
This is the second fatal crash this week involving an 18-wheeler and motorcycle.
The Ackerman crash is under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
