Rain Back by the Weekend
COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – After days of isolated rain, more scattered to numerous storms will be possible by the weekend.
TONIGHT – No rain is expected tonight, as conditions will be calm and clear. The overnight low will reach the low 70’s and be fairly comfortable.
TOMORROW – The heat kicks back tomorrow with an afternoon high climbing again to the upper 90’s. A Heat Advisory is in effect for Lafayette and Yalobusha counties with feels-like temps getting up to 105 for some areas. Rain chances remain isolated for the afternoon.
THIS WEEKEND – The rain really starts to pick up by Friday, just before the weekend starts. Scattered to numerous showers and storms are possible Friday and Saturday peaking in the afternoon to evening. These showers will help limit afternoon highs into the mid-90’s. By Sunday, rain coverage will lower where most areas will stay dry and another day in the mid-90’s.
